Thoughts on the return of high waisted clothes on women?

Every time I see a woman wearing high waisted shorts or bathing suit, it makes me think they are wearing diapers. Please tell me this fad is going to leave us soon and never come back.

From what I gather, some think it makes them look thinner? Sheesh, it makes me stare at their stomach more .... so gross.

Doesn't seem to be a fad to me but more of another fashion trend. I think it's only the beginning. You'll get used to it and learn to like it.
