Last weekend, I had to have emergency surgery on my spine, fusing c4,5,and 6 vertebrae together. Partial paralysis on my left side. Probably about 6 month recovery time and physical therapy. First question to doc after coming to from anesthesia was “will I be able to attend a football game Thursday?” He said, “as long as you aren’t playing!” Needless to say, I will be careful, but I am not missing this game for ANYTHING, and I look forward to seeing Knight Nation out in force one more time this year!!!
