Tashawn Manning was supposed to be on a football recruiting trip to the Iron Bowl at Auburn this past weekend, the annual battle with arch rival Alabama.
Instead, two days after learning the shocking news that he had Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APML), he was recovering from the effects of his first chemotherapy treatment. Two days withcancer and the Wekiva High senior defensive tackle was already taking on the battle of his life.
