I'll be there...
4 losses in 3 years(2 undefeated regular seasons), a National Championship, and a Playoff appearance... UCF would have no problem getting 40k at a Spring game if the Program went on that type of impressive run.Hope to be two of many! Really want good attendance to keep the momentum of this hiring going and to kill some of the hype of "FSU's branding" in Central Florida with their spring game.

5k is kinda dissapointing to me5,000 tickets have been printed and that doesn't include students. Should be a great day.

Is Nike into Frost?Sentinel story on the Spring game draft with player's reactions. I like what Frost is doing to spur competition at all levels.
Is Nike into Frost?
"In addition to the Knights’ new jerseys (they’ve been wearing last season’s game jerseys as practice gear), the school’s Nike allotment shot up by 50 percent so far. Players could see as many as four new custom helmets for the fall and the shoe company is in control of all the designs."
Phil Knight is, as everyone knows, a huge Oregon fan and their biggest donor. I'm sure Frost and him met several times and are probably even considered friends. Phil Knight is also a businessman. UCF is the largest university in the US, but maybe not even one of Nike's top 50 college brands. That equals great growth potential. Frost is likely to thank for drawing Nike's attention, but investing marketing resources into UCF just makes sense for Nike.
