LA proper or Southern California? If going to be venturing around SoCal then try Slater's 50/50. Anaheim Hills may be the closest location to LA.

Sorry, no food porn photos for the cooler; however, there is a folder full of them on another social media site.

We got started at the Grand Central Market. An old farmers market that was renovated into " the United Nations" of food. The city code does not allow food trucks unless they have a brick and mortar location. Grand Central Market is ground zero. I found locally farmed lamburger. Darn good. Bottega Louie Restaurant is a local favorite and great selection. Then there is Wurstkuche, a German sausage restaurant. Equally good food and beer. The Pie Hole would be a great place to meet members of da cooler. Just a few we're had a chance to try during our food porn vacation to the west coast. Chow baby......
