I don't understand why you all don't think there will be a filibuster. Everything the Dems do now is counter intuitive driven by pure partisan politics. Just as the Republicans did when Obummer was in office, the Dems will do the same only worse because they are petty, hypocritical and vindictive. At a minimum they will filibuster to slow the process and be obstructionists but like Bob said, it will be to no avail, Reid introduced the use of the nuclear option.

Absolutely nothing about waiting for the election results was unconstitutional. The Constituion says the Senate will advise and consent- and they advised Obama that they will wait for the election results before moving forward with a SCOTUS vote.

Twist your way around, but Republicans lost their supposed Constitutional high ground... they've lost their moral high ground, economic high ground... everything their idiot voters still believe they have even though they have pissed all over each area.
Constitutionally, they completely stalled in putting a Supreme Court Justice on the bench for almost a year, and now their president has gone hog-wild signing executive orders... not mentioning they claimed Obama was ignoring the Constitution by signing executive orders, the least amount of executive orders by any President since the 1800s.

Economically, the last two Republican Presidents have led us into a recession and a depression, and added outrageous amounts to the deficit that had to be subtracted by the Democrat Presidents who followed them.

Obama's executive orders were meant to bypass Congress in that they were more than just guidelines, they were public policy. That is the biggest reason why he had some of them shot down by the courts.
