Major sponsors calling for Blatter's immediate resignation

Coca Cola and McDonald's have demanded that FIFA President Sepp Blatter resing immediately. No word if they have pulled sponsorship of FIFA until that happens though, but I'd have to think that's next.

Hes not going anywhere until the February vote. I have a feeling he might even have some of his puppet delegation give him votes in February.

He has to stay to keep covering his own ass. No way he resigns and I don't think FIFA has any ability to oust him.

They say he's cooperated in the article. Have there been other stories that he was complicit in allowing issues to continue?

It's always a tough call on these things, because he ultimately was in-charge. He had the power, had he known.

I always felt Paterno got shafted, because it was the same people above him with the power to do something that did not, but then canned him.
