So the "meat" of the album is recorded per the last posting. 4 tracks Rhythm, 4 tracks lead, 4 tracks bass and synth and several vocal tracks using the C414, Neumann and the Shure sm87. The backing vocals are being done by our singer, Brad, this week and the rest of us... this coming week. It only came out to be 8 songs, however...there are a couple "dark ambient" tracks that will be released to make a full 10. We are obtaining an entertainment lawyer because we have already received some interest from two labels. Due to NDA's we cannot say which ones.

This is interesting. Since the guys in the band, including myself, are very particular as to how things are released, I cannot say too much. However, I CAN say, that this album will be very conceptual in nature.

Some of you might not know what that entails...

To explain:

Each song will be placed in an order to describe, what many would consider, an "apocalyptic" scenario. A...Malthusian premise...if you understand sociology.

We are openly admitting the influence of Fear Factory's "Obsolete" in regards to our progression in the story. We are taking it to the "technical" level in terms of guitar technique, and there will be an "ambient" element, but the "trade-off" will be different from Fear Factory.

We are still geared for an April release. I can say the labels we have "shopped", or will be "shopping" the album too...

With Howie's name on the production credits (Ministry's Psalm69 and NIN's Downward Spiral) it likely go to Metal Blade, Nuclear Blast (most likely), Spitfire, and Century Media.

I hate to brag and boast...

But whatever....got tired of the "no you can't" folk...they have only fueled this fire....

I'll leave you on my motto..."Gold is a heavy metal".
