Man loses everything because of Ashley Madison hack

You're sick. There is nothing funny about a guy who might die and whose whole life just fell apart.

It's a risk he was willing to take obviously.

Oh come on man. He could have been just looking out of curiosity.

When tender just came out I was in a relationship when tinder came out, I thought about getting on just to troll people.

Curiosity? LOL. If he was that curious, there were some thoughts of infidelity back there.

"...was in a relationship..." lol

When are you setting your house on fire?

Let this be a lesson, never use a business phone for personal issues. People laugh at me because I carry two phones around. I will never use my work phone to even look on this website.

This is the new world. We, the people, enjoy seeing people go down in flames. It makes us feel better about our own transgressions. Sad, but true.

IMO, this really had nothing to do with people enjoying watching someone else suffer, it was more about the consequences of actions.

I differ. I think that's at the foundation of the popularity of reality TV, social media, etc...

Did you all read the article? The dude self-reported (I guess in fear of extortion) to his wife and his employer. His life fell apart due to his crappy decisions. What does that have to do with people enjoying his suffering?

The fact that we are talking about it?

I'm not blaming Fab.

He was just responding to Honors and his over-the-top response. Especially since this guy seemingly hurt himself.

SIDE THOUGHT: Unless, of course, his wife did it to him, and he's just covering for her, ala Woods.

But, in general, reality TV and social media are, largely, the American outlet for feeling better about themselves because others are seemingly worse. It's a base the media taps into, which drives hits/views, which drives advertising dollars.

Although it can be positive sometimes.

Just like the viral social media posting of a guy that talked about seeing a woman and being tempted, only to realize it was his soon-to-be-wife. The funny thing is that I've said that about my wife of nearly 20 years, which is exactly what my wife thought when she read it too.

But in general, the world is far more negative, especially American media ... because judgement drives media dollars.
