It appears Dillon Gabriel will not be returning after all. Gabriel's broken clavicle was thought to be an 8-10 week injury and it appears it will be more on the backside of that projection. He is not close to returning and one has to wonder if he's not 100% why risk further damage. But in the transfer portal world of college free agency, UCF knows the game and as they look into the portal to upgrade positions, other schools will look as well. If Dillon was healthy all season, it would be foolish to think schools would not come after him and there is no reason to think those schools would not be interested despite missing most of the season. Don't read anything into this that I know something. I don't. I'm just pointing out that the portal game is one everyone is still learning and that includes players and coaches.

still believe Mullen got his return ticket for 2022 when he fired two assistants last week and likely pleased AD Scott Stricklin who needed something to throw to the Bull Gators who were not pleased.
