I still can't seem to find his stats at UCF. All I ever see mentioned is his time at High Point and St. Pete College.

If anyone has a link to his time at UCF, Id be thankful.

Had Tommy John at UCF. Rooney kicked him to the curb while he was rehabbing. Cozart (High Point) scooped up his former UCF recruit and the rest is history. Cozart gets all the credit!

Yeah, after Tommy John surgery, Cody helped out the coaching staff working in the bullpen while he was rehabbing. Then, at seasons end Rooney pulled his scholarship. Just shows how great a pitching evaluator Rooney was. Glad he's gone. I feel good times for UCF Baseball. Is it February yet? Go Knights!!!
P.S. Cody just got his second ALCS save for the Indians. And...Rooney couldn't use him.

Rooney told Cody he wasn't renewing his scholarship because he was damaged goods. In my opinion, Rooney is mentally damaged goods. That guy couldn't win in spite of the fact that UCF is in arguably the hottest baseball market in the country.
