McFootball is a playmaker

He's a True Freshman and this team's best option.

The Oline was getting blasted by Reddick and their Dline from mid 2nd quarter till the end of the game. His one Interception Cam Stewart didn't turn his head looking for the ball on the seam route. There wasn't a run game to balance out the Defense like just about every other opponent this season but credit Temple, Reddick will playing on Sundays. He needs to pull the ball more on the read option like that long 63 yard td run( It was the second longest run for a UCF quarterback since Culpepper took a 75-yard run at UCF, thank OS)., had a an easy 1st down that would have ended the game that he didn't pull from Wilson.

Mistakes were made but he's was an exciting bright spot with tons of potential. Durability will be the major concern for his career at UCF.

Lots of excuses, most valid, but he was also very, very bad in the second half.
That pass to Oldham at the 1 yard line was put there with perfect touch in his hands and he dropped it. the whole unit struggled the whole 2nd half but there were multiple opportunities to still put the game away

He had made 1 good throw the second half. He really isn't good. Hopefully Frost will have him replaced next season.

It was high, but I will give credit on that one. Threw well short to smith on what would have been an easy TD if he has some arm strength. Missed many other passes all night (two in a row to the sideline in middle of third quarter to wide open guys). I will readily agree his line was AWFUL but so was he most of the night.

Yeah, I could have caught it. No wait. It would have been an amazing catch because it was thrown so high. I can't believe Oldham could leap that high, let alone time his leap perfectly.

I'm impressed how quickly he cleaned up the glaring issue of dropping the ball on exchanges in his first start vs Maryland. Hasn't been a problem since. The ankle injury was a set back. Now he put together a good passing day on the road in conditions that he can't possibly have much experience in. If he keeps improving at this rate and can stay healthy he's gonna win us a lot of games as the starter when you factor in the growth of the rest of the offense around him as well.

Here's hoping he can generate more than a meager 25 points a game. Tulane scores more usually, Tulsa only once scored less than that, he can certainly outscore Cincy, but forget Houston and usf- he needs to drastically improve to beat them. 25 points wins 1 of the remaining games- hardly time to give the guy nicknames or call him the next starting QB for 3 years. There's a lot of learning and growing that he needs. WAAAAAAY too early to crown him anything. 2 straight games where the defense needed to dig him out of a loss, 1 they didn't 1 they did. Not all his fault- drops- but at least 1 throw way over the head of the WR. I think he'll win most of the rest of the games, but if not, next year should be great. GO FROST!

No, he is doing better than you say, and no, we are unlikely to win most of our remaining games. Three TDs, 1 late sack, no INTs, and well over 300 yds. against the heaviest D in the conference that shut down our run game and had Milton running for his life, all on a cold, rainy, very windy day. What do people want?
