I don't like AOC at all but I bagged groceries at Publix and worked in the produce dept. to make my way through undergrad and grad school. I waited tables and bartended as well post grad school before I found work in my line of employment. Sounds like she is the opposite of the low-life loafers that Dr. Knighttime likes to make fun of on the left who just sit around, collect welfare, and smoke dope all day. In all actuality he likes books with lots of pictures in them and probably watches Hannity every night in his underwear.

Honestly, From what I know the Green new deal is an overreach and If I had to venture a guess she likely knows this. I do believe we need to support and incubate technical changes that will provide alternate energy sources. Frankly, the combustible engine has long exceeded it's time due to many reasons. It's going to take moderates to make this happen.
Yes, I happen to know many environmentalist who think with their hearts not their minds. Greenpeace USA is a prime example. But you know I don't discount their aspirations and call them stupid.

I believe AOC is a very bright young lady and I can only hope my daughter has the drive and aspirations she has. That does not mean I agree with everything she promotes but I do agree we have to move in that direction smartly.
