On Monday afternoon, Rudd was on Sports 56 Middays with Greg Gaston and Eli Savoie and stated the case for Memphis to the Big 12, or any other Power 5 league for that matter. He seems to believe that when the five conferences realign somewhere down the road, the Tigers have a realistic shot of joining the upper echelon of Division I athletics if they take care of a few things they can control.
