The UCF Knights Men's basketball team took on the Miami Hurricanes in a home non-conference game on November 27, 2022. Miami jumped out to a halftime lead that later extended to 13 points midway through the second half. Knights sophomore point guard Darius Johnson led a furious comeback scoring 15 straight points to make it a 1 point game with under 12 seconds to play. However, Miami proved to be too much on the boards, and a missed Knights free throw sealed a 66-64 win for the Hurricanes. After the game, Darius Johnson and Coach Johnny Dawkins met with the media to share their thoughts on the outcome.
