Scott Frost has made another move towards finalizing his staff and it involved saying goodbye to a former UCF player and coach.
Mike Buscemi, whose most recent role had been running the recruiting office as Director of Player Personnel, was let go on Monday. He previously had served as special teams coordinator from 2013-14, a duty he had resumed during the latter part of the 2015 season when UCF was down a coach due to GOL's departure.
As a player, Buscemi was part of GOL's first four seasons at UCF. He joined the program as a walk-on and later earned a scholarship as the starting long snapper. He was a senior during UCF's 2007 Conference USA Championship season.
Frost's inaugural staff is expected to be finalized this week.
