Moving to 247

I have always been pro Rivals, but the new guy who took over 247 is posting a considerable amount of content compared to this site. I understand there is not much going on right now in terms of college football - But, get creative, make a post. Do something! this site is dead, and im moving on. Rivals sucks.

There's nothing going on right now in college football. I think I rather lay low right now instead of reading the 10th post that predicts our record or how much Key sucked, etc.
Come the spring game or first game, there will be a full page of new threads just in that day alone.
There were a few interesting combine 40 yard performances. Maybe someone can start a thread on that. It does sometime seem like only controversial subjects get talked about. Who should be fired, who sucks, USF shenanigans, Gators/Gatorknight foolish talk, etc.

I usually always agree with you Mike, but we have to talk about Donnie Jones right now. We're at the end of a pivotal season and many thing are still the same (not good) for UCF men's basketball

I agree. It's definitely a hot topic. However, there's no doubt in my mind that he will be fired at the end of the season. There's no reason to keep him around and Danny White has a history of firing coaches in such situations from what I have heard.

I don't follow basketball so if even I could see before the season started that he was going to get fired, it must be painfully obvious to everyone else. I'm slightly surprised he isn't gone already. Aren't there enough assistant coaches to cover?

As for 247, the message board seems quiet, but the front page seems to have a lot more content than here.

Where else can you find such well thought out commentary and insightful opinions as here on the free Rivals board? Here every comment is chock full-o facts and there is never bias. Here you can have stimulating conversation with none of that repetition of arguments or name calling. Here you are free to hug the nuts of a coach or to blindly hate him without fear of backlash or ridicule. Here fans of P5 programs come to compliment UCF without condescending attitudes or intentional contrary statements. Here even USF fans come to bask in the glow of UCF's long an glorious history and timidly discuss their program's shortcomings.

Why would you go anywhere else?

Meh, nobody pays much attention to subjects such as this. Everyone knows Brandon does an amazing job with this site. Much of it requires payment but the guy needs to make a living.

As I said before, I come here for the stimulating conversation.
