He was caught outright lying about senior Trump staff and comments they didn’t make. Bernstein’s editor at the WAPO doubted many things he quoted during his tenure there. Basically not many people believe his stories. He and Woodward also most likely broke the law by getting information from a grand jury member who they lied and said was an administration employee. There are also FBI documents that question the existence of deep throat. He has little credibility but typical, you believe everything you read.
