I'd have to say this was his best game so far this year. 1 run of 20 yrds or so, and multiple 10 plus yard runs. I'm still waiting for a repeat of the amazing run v. KC 2 years ago.

FYI: Allen had 12 TDs as a Raider and 13 tops in one season. Not saying Murray is having a Marcus Allen season yet but he's certainly playing respectable and meaningful football for his team. With 4 games left "Tay" should score some more TDs.

That was the article title, and it says the great Marcus Allen had several of those 10+ TD seasons!

However, Allen was a very different kind of back. Murray became a TD machine with outrageous scoring numbers at UCF in his last year; he's just starting to in the NFL. Unlike even Kevin Smith, with his workhorse 30+ carries/game, Murray was leading the nation in yards/carry until defenses were forced to focus their game plans on stopping him.

In the NFL, his unique value is he can do all phases of the game at the pro level: fumble-free, blitz protector, quickness, speed, vision, receiver hands, and short yardage power. Fortunately, the Raiders acquired talented RB so he isn't overused and only moderately dinged up (he always seems to be a game-time decision).

saw that he was spotted courtside with Derek Carr watching Klay drop 60 last night for the Warriors. Life is good for Latavius

Tay and Carr treated their offensive line to the game! Murray takes the pressure off Carr and the line lets them both succeed.

Latavius played great last night in a losing effort to KC.

" 103 yards on 22 carries." "Murray's 12th rushing score of the season, which tied him with Hall of Famer Marcus Allen's mark in 1990 for the third-most rushing scores in a single season in franchise history."

Murray was the only offense: rest of Raiders limited to only 140 yds! K.C. has a great defense that's held opponents under 20 pts this year. Murray's second 100 yd rushing game this season, equalling his 2 last year. Five of past 7 games, Tay had at least 18 carries. He needs to average about 70 yds/game for rest of the season to top 1000 yds. for a second straight season.
