Wahhh!! Why do you post so much! You’re ruining the board!

Hijabs are cool. They have so many practical uses. Why the hate?

I like how one valid critique was enough to set off this Muslim group and call for her expulsion in true fascist, snowflake behavior

I was interested in how a hijab can be empowering so I did a little research. It’s interesting that women who voluntarily wear the hijab feel empowered by removing themselves from the cultural beauty contest which allows them to concentrate on other matters.

This seems to run opposite of the Western cultural evolution where women are empowered by their existence and not by what they choose to wear or not. They can choose their appearance and the rest of society should accept it without reservation or comment because it doesn’t matter in the greater scheme. I’m thinking, in the ideal, this is more empowering because it equalizes men and women. But what happens in reality would be an interesting study.

Islam is the religion of the slave traders, founded by a war lord who was also a gigolo, not to mention child molester (but that last is a modern view of his world that does not translate). It means "submission", but now some say "peace", but you can only get peace by submitting. Islam spread by the sword, and so, it prospered, since it was always about the money.
Our new leftist Elites and the bought and paid for Democratic Party believe (or pretend to believe) that striring up racial and religious hated and bigotry is the key to power and riches.

i think in some cases i can see the empowering part for those that chose to wear it. however its so hard to focus on that aspect when it has overwhelming been used to hold them down.

If she wants to wear it, she should be able to wear it. Some douche shouldn't criticize her, without even knowing her, but obviously they shouldn't be expelled either.

if she wants to wear that is fine. if she thinks that empowers her thats fine. i dont think it should be banned. i dont think the guy was criticizing her as much as he was criticizing the faith for requiring it in an oppressive manner. i dont think either should face any kind of punishment.

But she didn't criticize "her", she criticized the larger message that they're trying to push.

And thanks to this student simply speaking her mind, she has now received threats of physical violence and now has left wing fascists trying to have her expelled.

TOLERANCE!

Is this still going on? I thought UCF wasn't going to even consider it. Has it been dropped, or is the Muslim group still using social media to get people to support the expulsion of Kathy Zhu?
