Navy at UCF: Xavier Arline or Maasai Maynor starts at QB?
With Xavier Arline injured versus Notre Dame, which Navy quarterback does UCF prepare for?
totally! THIS^^^^^^^^^^Would rather face the backup, who might not be as good running the option. Not so concerned about the fullback dive as our DTs have been very good plugging up the middle. I am concerned about keeping them from turning the corner as Spears was killing us there, we were fortunate he got knicked up in the 2nd half.
I'm betting every 'QB' on their roster knows exactly how to run. The probably only benefit of a back-up is he'll have less of an idea how to throw the ball, since they do it at most 7 times a game.Would rather face the backup, who might not be as good running the option. Exactly, they seem to be throwing as much in 1 game as they did all last year,, 7 passes. But, they're always a surprise.I watched some of the ND game. Seemed Navy threw more than normal. The starter seemed to hit the longer throws but both ran offense pretty well.
The backup is the passing guy, and Arline is the starter because he best runs the option.....we want the other guy.I'm betting every 'QB' on their roster knows exactly how to run. The best passer hasnt played in 3 weeks. Arline and Maynor have 9 abd 12 attempts on year each. Arline was the backup 3 weeks ago.The backup is the passing guy, and Arline is the starter because he best runs the option.....we want the other guy.
