LOL!

This is too funny.

Teams don't want their OWNER be called an owner because its a racial term for slave owners.

You couldnt make this up if you tried...

Meanwhile, their league tv ratings are tanking (just 13 Million USA Viewers on a Sunday Night for Game 2 which follows a large drop seen in regular season games).

This is all because Green is a dipshit moron who wants to Inject faux racism into everything and gets basic facts wrong like saying the word owner or the idea of ownership only exists because of slavery

At least Mark Cuban had the balls to tell him to go fuk himself for those comments

People have to be shook over anything. What are you supposed to called someone that owns a business?

Basically,
"Look how little I know about businesses"

There are a lot of titles that people who are the primary shareholder in a business. I am a president and a member. I interact with owners and CEOs and managing partners and all kinds of titles. If you think all primary shareholders just go by owner it's because you learned everything you know about business from shark tank.

It's awesome how the story about what you do and how successful you are changes every time you post something. That's usually a sign that the person works a very remedial job and must impress upon others something different.

You're getting into shook territory again. A CEO isn't necessarily a single owner and a normal case. A managing partner is exactly that. When you're dealing with a massive corporation you call them shareholders. If you're a single owner of the business... you're the owner. Stay shook

For those who apparently don't understand basic business acumen and were never taught what the different forms of ownership and corporate governance are, here's a good example from the LA Times discussion the Marlins sale:

The vote was unanimous, with 75% approval needed.

A signed $1.2-billion agreement was submitted to Major League Baseball last month to sell the Marlins to a group led by Sherman, a venture capitalist who will be the controlling owner. Jeter, a 14-time All-Star shortstop for the New York Yankees, plans to be a limited partner in charge of the business and baseball operations.

The closing is expected to be within a few days. Loria has owned the team since 2002.

Isn't necessarily but can be. Your post was like you were stumped as to any alternative to the title of owner for a business owner.

You're just reaching. It is normal when you own a business or general partnership to refer to yourself as the owner or owners. The butt hurt part is trying to make the link between slave owners and property. Furthest thing from the truth with entitled multi millionaire athletes.

A guy gets paid millions of dollars every year to play a game and live a life that .00001% of people in the country get to experience, and he then turns around and equates the guy paying him that money to some slave owner and pushes a huge lie to justify it.

Seems legit. Meanwhile lefties are so scared of disrupting the Wokeness that not a single liberal can come up and tell these idiots to shut up already.

Players are employees, and yet they are confident enough to criticize their employer. Compare that to slaves, who, if they even asked a question in good faith would be whipped. Talk about self unawareness.
