Today, the NCAA field of 64 was revealed. For the first time in the current 64-team format dating back to 1999, no Big 12 team is hosting a regional. Of the host sites:
8 - SEC (Georgia, Auburn, Texas, LSU, Arkansas, Tennessee, Vandy, Ole Miss)
3 - ACC (UNC, Clemson, FSU)
2 - Big Ten (UCLA, Oregon)
2 - Sun Belt (Coastal Carolina, Southern Miss)
1 - Independent (Oregon State)
The Big 12 though has 8 of its 14 teams in the NCAA Tournament (regional site in parentheses):
