ESPN hosts on TV yesterday were laughing at all the brazen violations NCAA has reported that former USM Head Coach Donnie Tyndall (who bolted for Tennessee for 1 year, where he was immediately fired by UT once this allegations became known).
NCAA reports that 2 USM Basketball Staff members completed JUCO Classwork of 7 players that helped land Donnie 5 JUCO Transfers who were eventually eligible to qualify (with help from his staff members). NCAA also has proof that Donnie even personally paid for one of the online courses that his staff did work for.
He even sent 2 of those staff members out-of-state to those JUCO schools so that they could do certain work that was required to be done on those JUCO student computers.
Tyndall also gave a non-scholarship players $6,300 in cash and prepaid card while another player received $2,100 to help them enroll at USM in his program.
This clown used burner phones to communicate with these JUCO players HS Coaches and even used his Mom's phone on occasion so that these calls wouldn't be traced back to his official school's cell phone/records.
Here's the NCAA report detailing this "alleged" violations. (Note: NCAA right now is not hitting USM for Lack of Institutional Control...as all the blame is being placed on Tyndall's former staff.

Question: If a small program like USM is going this far to win and attract players (doing coursework for them while they are in JUCO, paying them $6,300...which is the amount they can approve)...what are some of the Big or even rich programs (i.e. many P5 that don't have great tradition but are now flooded with P5 $$$) doing to secure future players?
We now know what programs like UNC did for decades just to win (and in a similar case, Syracuse), so what are/have other teams doing to "win at all costs?"
