As UCF Football embarks on its first season in the Big 12, veteran defensive coach David Gibbs has some familiarity with the league. For the Knights to be competitive in 2023 he knows the secondary will need to make key plays and gets stops. Littered with young, local talent, Coach Gibbs will have some opportunities to develop key players throughout the season.
