I haven't seen this posted yet but it looms like we have a new commit for basketball. 6'1 PG from Monteverde, Brendan Boyle (coach's son). Not sure how we got space for him, not sure if it's scholarship either?? Anyone know or any thoughts?

Also, 6'3 SG Marshall Holmes is transferring from UCF.
Smart move for him...as even when UCF was down 4 players, Holmes, as a walk-on, played just 2 mins of action for the entire season.

UCF, getting back to 13 scholarships and lots of guards, there would have been almost zero PT available for this walk-on.

Wish him the best.

Yes, Marshall would tell you he is transferring, the school would say he's transferring, and the paperwork says that he is transferring from one school to another. The school he transfers to would accept him as a transfer. Not sure about rules for walk-ons having to sit out a year or not though??

I think it was public knowledge Wednesday but I haven't seen any news about it on the boards, Dylan Karell is also transferring.

Yeah...it was known in the Dungeon about a week ago...wish him well for his Senior Year and thanks for being a Knight for the past 3 years.

That's a shame. He showed the most growth last season.

Well, Goodwin obviously improved/showed the most growth last season...with Blair probably not far behind.

Dylan averaged just 1.1 pts per game...and almost had more personal fouls than rebounds (had just 1.6 rebounds per game).

Certainly appreciate his efforts, but since his offensive game obviously lacked, it was many times 4 on 5 when he was on the court.
