New Basketball Transfer: Nick Banyard

So the question is: Will we be better than Donnie's team in 2015-2016? As poor as the record was, can we tie it or beat it?

Impossible to say. 1) We don't really know how good the freshman will be 2) How will the transfers play? new teammates 3) Will BJ Taylor make a return 4) Tacko continue to develop?

Hopefully above .500. We need to turn back up

Having BJ Taylor back with a much better developed/conditioned Tacko will make UCF a better team this coming year...even down eligible scholarships again (i.e. 3 transfers that have to sit out next year).

Hopefully Tacko can be up to 30 mins per game...and BJ can remain 100% healthy...all while having a back-up PG Jeremy Sheppard to give him a blow.

Tacko was improving exponentially the last several games. It was like a light turned on and everything slowed down on him. Lacking anything near a true point guard last season after BJ was lost and our other point transferred to FL Gulf Coast slowed Fall's progress. We had a great Frosh class last year, and graduations and transfers won't cost us hardly anything while making us a faster and quicker on D. I can't wait for the season to start under a coach willing to run more of a pressing defense and fast-break offense. I predict 18 wins (2 of which in conf. tourney).
