One could say the new Big 12 is getting the best team in FL, the best team in Ohio, and best team in TX added to their conference based on current rankings/results

I love this topic. Based on this year you could make a case that the Big 12 has improved with the 4 new teams. I have to disagree with the best team in Ohio, but to your point Cincinnati is ranked higher.
I think they have to be happy with the additions given the current landscape. Imagine if they had added a 1 win team with no accomplishments or stadium. Yikes.

The New Big 12 would easily be the 3rd best conference this year. There should be no question about P5 status.
Best in Utah is debatable as well... BYU took it to the Utes earlier this year. They weren't motivated in their bowl game.
but they were motivated against us in the boca bowl? quit that not motivated stuff. they got beat by a better team on the day.
In an alternate reality, the Big East is one of the toughest conferences in the country led by Cincinnati, Pitt, and UCF.
