In general, this staff is bringing in some great talent, especially on the defensive side of the ball. That side of the ball has always been hard for us to recruit (other than the secondary). Our three biggest recruiting weaknesses of the last decade were the QB, DL and LB. I'm psyched about this DL talent we're puling in.

I saw him after the game. Definitely thought he was a basketball prospect with his height. He is a man child. Looks like college junior.

Yes, DL looks good for the near future.

I believe QB and LB will be even stronger next year also. LB due to 2016 class stepping in, Bacote, Mitchell and Evans, to play alongside Jasinski, Davis, Burkett and Griffin. QB due to quality 2017 recruits coming in.

True...but ever since the NCAA Sanctions/Scholarship losses/Recruiting Restrictions hit...the biggest "miss" so far in recruiting has been OL.

Heck, Frost even brought in a JUCO OL and he can't even sniff the field in a unit that has performed so poorly.

Frost did redshirt 2 OL this year, plus obviously had to play one this year as a true Freshmen...but he might have to use another true Freshmen next year (never ideal), and hope that some of the redshirt OL can perform at a high level right away.

Zio has offers from Indy, Kentucky, Louisville, Mich, Mich St, UNC and WV- not to shabby- two teams with potential playoff hopes recruited him.

Heck, no problem. We have 4 TE's who've seen lots of service. Try starting with four TEs. Extra bonus: the non-eligible interior ones can step back and become eligible on trick plays.
