Last season there was a thread about music at the game . It appears there is a new play list and this Gen Xer was not impressed. I get you want to mix it up with hits from 70s80s 90s and 2000s with traffic and weather on the 11s,but it seemed a bit hip hop rap heavy . Sure the students dig it and maybe the players ,but the season ticket holders and donors might have different ideas.
If it were up to me I would do 2-3 hip hop and 3-4 classic stuff . Appeal to everyone. I would also after the MKs leave the field and before the start of the 2nd half , if the lighting was LED, drop the house lights and crank up In The Air Tonight by Phill Collins. Then I would have the team come back onto the field when the song kicks in the drums. Then bring up the lights. But that's just me. I like ACDC Thunderstruck but isn't Back in Black more our vibe ?
