Fanatics and Topps announce trading card agreements for college football and basketball
Student-athletes, including Bryce Young, Bo Nix and Aliyah Boston, from roughly 100 universities will be featured on the upcoming cards.

Not really. They are coming back. Pokémon cards can be worth a lot. Baseball cards have set records again in last few months. I think the digital cards would only be good as unique NFTs.
The card industry has seen a thunderous return over the past 4 years. With all the printed money hanging around, cards have been driven up ridiculously high.
I used to be able to buy boxes of 1991 Upper Deck baseball for $5 a box, pulling one of those Jordan baseball SP cards almost every box. People couldn't give that crap away.
Fast forward to today and those MJ's are fetching $25 a piece (there's probably 50 million in circulation) and the boxes themselves are going for over $40. I just sold a lot of those Jordans for hundreds....a card I could have bought by the truckload for maybe $2, $3 tops, 5 years ago.
It's insane.
