I know covid doesn't spread in riots, protests, and some funerals. Not sure about weddings? I haven't heard of any weddings lately. Are people skipping it? Having it with just direct family? Bride and groom in masks?

Anyone planning on a wedding?

I know of several that happened but all were reduced to family and close friends. One is postponed until next spring.

Recently, My friend's marriage is done with very few members only. I am also one of the guests there. I am very happy how he makes decision to do simple. Because he is rich. I am surprised once and also we all appreciate him. Be aware everyone tries to understand the situations outside. thank you

My wife’s niece was originally scheduled to get married in Los Angeles in April and we were flying out for it. Then it got rescheduled for August and we were flying out for it. Then it got changed to a private wedding just for the immediate family.

So some good things have come out of this pandemic! ;)

We are attending a wedding next week in St. Augustine. It’s an outdoor wedding and we are going to be taking precautions. Not sure about masks yet.

You're going to melt. We got married in early September and assured that no part of the day was outdoors aside from a quick picture in downtown St Pete next to a famous tree, and even during those 10 minutes everyone was sweating to death.

The wifey and I attended an outdoor wedding in St. Augustine five years ago. I find weddings boring but that one actually wasn’t half bad.

Weddings sound like a diaster in 2020. Typically wasteful anyway. Start the marriage taking on debt to toss a party.
Looking at the wedding album a few years later: “Oh honey, there’s your Uncle Ed and Aunt Millie. We haven’t seen them in ages!”

“Don’t you remember, dear? They contracted the virus at our reception and died two weeks later.”

“That was a shame. The teapot set they gave us was SO sweet!”
