The RNC’s success finally pulled Joe out of the basement. He emerges to see violence in Portland and then, after a DNC where they all either ignored or downplayed the violence, finally issues a condemnation. Then has the temerity to call on Trump to condemn the violence. And then further gaslighting ensues.
And they’re going to get away with these kind of lies because they know that their people don’t consume any information that would contradict their message. Oh, and they’ve convinced them that all Republicans and especially Trump do nothing but lie all the time.
Trump has been condemning the violence all along. And offering to help out with resources and the national guard. That’s why it’s gaslighting! The stuff this weekend, was after the DNC, and Joe most certainly spoke on riots prior to the DNC. And Trump is the president, so calling on him to condemn the violence isnt really out of line.

But there is no place for violence.
No place for looting or destroying property or burning churches, or destroying businesses — many of them built by people of color who for the first time were beginning to realize their dreams and build wealth for their families.
That is from June 3rd, and it wasnt in a basement. But tell us more about gaslighting and spreading the idea that Biden hasnt condemned violence and has been staying in his basement?

In fairness, even the left leaning media outlets have expressed concern about Biden not addressing it. They are getting to the point where Joe can't be invisible anymore and it's showing in the polls. While simultaneously tweeting out support for MAGA people to go into these cities, which we all know just results in more violence. And BTW, Trump has essentially been stoking this since before the 2016 election when he talked about 2nd amendment solutions to a Hillary presidency, told his supporters he would pay their legal bills if they fought with people at this rallies, talking about the military, police, and bikers getting tough, etc etc. But right, Biden is the one who doesnt care about violence, the guy who has spoken about it now for years, is the actual anti-violence guy. Got it.

CNN wouldn't be concerned about it if he had been out in front of the issue. Obviously this is a different election cycle than we've ever seen, and Biden has to deal with that. The narrative of him hiding in his basement has turned out to actually be kind of effective. He litterally addressed it today, and I just provided an article where he addressed it on June 3rd, and if I looked I am sure I can find more. He isnt invisible, the DNC was literally a week ago, the VP selection was like 2 weeks ago. Obviously he isnt campaigning as much in a typical year, but guess what, neither is Trump. The reason we see way more of Trump than Biden is because Trump is the current president, neither campaign has been on the road nearly as much as they would have been if covid wasnt an issue.
