California is insane! Her set up look very nice compared to the other one. This is what years of voting blue will get you.

The basic tennant of our Constitution is the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. our founders debated on saying life, liberty and property. anyway, private property and free enterprise are the underpinnings of our society. The binary choice of do you want to run your business or kill people with Covid is where most of my liberal friends sit. They see COVID as a death sentence when it is not.
none of my liberal friends who work either in government or at a university have had to give up a single pay check, give up a single contribution to their retirement plan or face telling others they don't have a job. Their sacrifice amounts to putting a mask on, attending zoom meetings and giving up going to movies.
I despise with every once of my being the phrase , we are all in this together. no we are not. Some of us have had to make real sacrifices, lay people off, figure out how to pay bills, feed our families and hope the business we are building will survive so we too can have a retirement.
COVID isn't killing everyone but government is destroying lives, businesses and frankly illegally taking private property for the greater good. Somebody should sue these states for what is tantamount to a land use taking by shutting down businesses and denying the owners use of the private property.

Please note the first of the three is LIFE.

I feel for all the people, small business owners and workers, who have lost their jobs and their livelihoods, as a result of the pandemic. It's gut-wrenching to see. But the villain here is the virus, not the people trying to protect us from it.

You can't say that. The commie "solutions" are way worse than the virus.
The hard truth is that if everyone wore masks, washed their hands regularly, and practiced social distancing, there wouldn't be a need for lockdowns.

But when hospitals are literally being swamped with covid cases, what is a responsible leader to do? Simply shrug the shoulders and say, "it is what it is?"

The impact from the spike in infections we are seeing goes far beyond the virus itself because people with all kinds of health conditions, diseases and serious injuries can't get the help they desperately need when our hospitals are being overrun.

Since the big numbers of 25k a day are coming from commieforina, they are doing the mask thing, they shutdown, they are re-shutting down, and schools are only virtual. Florida opened Disney, restaurants, schools, etc. Seems like the solutions aren't working. But I'm just looking at data so who knows.
