You mean 227 people protesting outside arrested for “crowding and disorderly conduct” by heavily armed police in tactical gear? You are equating that to hundreds if not thousands breaching the capitol building (some with supplies to take hostages), beating a cop to death, and desecrating a federal building to subvert democracy? An event that saw thousands commit felonies. Yet the number arrested was about 1/4 of that at the event you cite where people protesting outside were arrested for misdemeanors.

When you say “the left encouraged it” are you referring to Joe Biden holding a rally a block away from the Supreme Court and then instructing the attendees march to the court to take their country back with strength? Or was it some other encouragement that I’m unaware of. It’s ok to condemn what happened Wednesday rather than to try to draw parallels and downplay it. You have a chance to be on the right side of history here.

Both groups The washington trumpers, and the rioters earlier this year were thugs, and should be arrested, charged and if convicted jailed or fined depending on what they did. I have 0 tolerance For people who injure others, break and enter, loot, or riot.

You’ve confused “resistance” and “protesters” with “insurrection” and “rioters.” See it says so right in the story and on CNN.
