I find it curious that the same people who deliberately flaunt our country's COVID-19 social distancing rules are the very same people who grouse about the pandemic's impact on small businesses.

I'm guessing it must be some kind of chud logic.

They’re not grousing about the pandemic’s impact on small businesses, they’re grousing about the overreaction from government’s impact on small businesses.

Hmmmm, let's think about this statement a second. Why are those commie, freedom-hating "Powers-that-Be" hurting small businesses by 'overreacting' to the pandemic?

I don’t need to think about it, I know why the states that are hurting small businesses so much are doing so. Maybe you need to take a break from “Go Team D” and look beyond your patriarchal feelings that voting D is saving the world and see what is really happening.

I've been a member of the moderate middle my whole life. Most of that time that's made me a registered Republican -- until Bush's second term. If I ever thought about switching back to the Grand Ole Party, Donald Trump certainly convinced me that the party sure as hell wasn't for me.

Regarding why small businesses have been hurt so much, it's because Trump had NO PLAN for responding to the pandemic. None. Zippo. Nadda.

If the Biden Administration had been in charge a year ago at this time, the impact on small businesses in 2020 would have been a couple of months instead of non-stop monthly screw-jobs since March. If you could look beyond the end of your partisan nose, you'd see that.

😂😂😂

Absolute nonsense, from the first word to the last. Unbelievable.

You really just said that Biden would have knocked out the whole pandemic in a matter of 2 months. 😂😂😂

Lol...Biden would have magically waives his dementia wand and covid gone. You either get rid of covid by immunity from getting it or a vaccine. There is no hiding it out without a military style lockdown.
There were some military-style lockdowns and there were some that did not. But however you want to slice and dice it, a whole bunch of countries did A WHOLE LOT BETTER at responding to the virus than the United States.

Why is that? Were we just really unlucky compared to everybody else?

comparing handling a pandemic in months 1-3 vs a year in is being disingenuous. The year long fatigue ‘F it’ is expected a lot more now vs May 2020.
