I know many elderly people who talk about how Miami Beach was so nice back in the day. They brag about it like it was the best place in the world. You could go to the community pool or the beach and leave your doors unlocked. Crazy. That was the time to live there. Ok.., maybe that’s a little far back, but I actually enjoyed taking a roadtrip and spending a weekend their with friends in the 90’s.
Now it’s completely out of control. Sad really. Violent crime, guns, and theft. I would never live there and actually have very little desire to even visit. It gives me anxiety. Lol. This is Miami Beach today. Society today. Has nothing to do with Covid. Spring Break just is accentuating and overloading the existing problem.
Maybe downtown Miami or Lincoln Road is OK to spend an evening to go to dinner, but South Beach is a dump now.
