This was months and months ago. But a business can and will still require one if they want.Glad he stuck a fork in the insanity.
I think that you’re smart enough to see how extending a bureaucratic mechanism that keeps extra resources in place so they can continue to deal with the already and previously infected and also continue to fund the emergency structures, such as vaccine distribution and COVID information sites, can be aligned with a message easing restrictions on healthy people and not a “flip-flop” as you are trying to portray.Last week he extended the emergency order another 60 days.

Good afternoon,
We have had an opportunity to read over both Executive Orders issued by Governor DeSantis yesterday. Effective immediately, parents will determine whether or not their child(ren) wears a mask to school. Teachers have already been instructed that they have the same choice.
While we are fully aware that COVID, masks, etc elicit some very strong feelings and can be politically charged, we are simply following the Executive Order. We will not engage in political banter. Both staff and families have a choice and we as a school will respect that choice.
We live in Osceola county and send our kids to a charter school but seems like we are moving in the correct direction.
