Commodities will skyrocket even worse than every before, well beyond the current rate of inflation.
And all the 'popular environmentalists' who have been blocking both domestic fossil fuel energy as well as preventing the mining and refinement of raw materials to make electric engines domestically, let alone who are completely behind even wood -- the most renewable resource on the planet -- going sky high (and stupidly so) -- will say it's all Trump's fault, despite Trump being one of the few -- either left or right -- politicians warning Americans of the need for 'equal tarriffs' and 'better taxes to promote domestic investment.'
We're going to go right into a depression, with hyperinflation of the dollar that could possibly rival '30s Germany. Heck, we already have people living off the government at record rates.
My only hope is that the people who helped instigate this will finally 'back off.'
But they won't. The AOCs and others will come to the forefront, we will become Greece, we will default on our debt, and we will have a new FDR that will just leapfrog FDR in the destruction of neo-liberalism to new levels.
We'll be the new Soviet, but we will refuse to look at ourselves as such.
