If you put him on stage with good musicians he would be absolutely lost. He definitely wrote some hits and made money in the music industry though which is not easy so I’ll give him that.

i mean you could say the same about Kurt Cobain, but their musicianship isn't about their knowledge of theory its about their ability to write things that people want to listen to which is a sign of a talented musician.
