There's no reason that anybody in the Whitehouse or CDC should be answering questions about covid at this point.
We all know what we are dealing with. They should just release data and not give opinions or recommendations. A simple "there's a vaccine and you can get it if you want. If not, you know the risk you're taking." should be the only statement that needs to be made.

The only reason to listen to anyone is because they know what they’re talking about. They have very clearly demonstrated they don’t.
I thought masks were to protect other people not yourself? Why do we have to wear masks to protect people that won’t get a free and very readily available vaccine if they won’t protect themselves?

And vaccinated people who do get infected are up to 78% less likely to spread the virus to household members than are unvaccinated people. The first study saw a drop of 78%, and the second 41%, in reduction of infectiousness — with the large difference in numbers perhaps explained by the fact that the estimates are based on a very small number of vaccinated people who were infected and then infected others.
