Pfizer vaccine has the highest efficacy after 14 days on the 2nd dose (maybe as high as 92%). After 3 months it drops to maybe as high as 78%. After 6 months you're dealing with potentially 39-42%. That is really disappointing that the china virus still is highly contagious in the vaccinated and the efficacy drops fast. The Moderna definitely is coming out better in the studies.

Which brings into question if 21 and 57 days during trails are very comparable to the Ad vector types that take much longer, let alone those trials were done months later when more variants were around.

Another interesting note -
"The study also found that people infected with Delta who had received any vaccine had similar peak levels of virus as infected people who had not been vaccinated. That has “potential implications for onward transmission risk,” the authors wrote."

This all makes sense if anyone reads the original US NIH and other analysis of the 10 (at the time) mRNA vectors in development and/or trials in mid-2020.

One trip to looking at IgG blood v. IgA respiratory says everything, and ended up being the case in the end, on secondary transmission during just the initial 5-6 days, or 3-4 days in the case of Delta, pre-blood infection.
