Lot's of threads about GOL and lots of hand wringing.

Advise from a Golden Eagle fan. GOL has done a good job at UCF. A change is probably needed. Dogging him in open forum is not helpful. If you want your program damaged for a long time. go O-12 and hang out your dirty laundry for all, including recruits and families to see. You may go 0-12, but fans should stay behind the team and coach.

Southern Miss is coming back finally but it has been a devastating three years. Don't let that happen to UCF. Finally, do NOT hire a coach with initials EJ JMHO. He can kill you in one year.

This is a thoughtful, terrific post.

If our fate is actually determined by fan posts on a sports forum, we're screwed worse than I thought.*

I think that everything we put out there, positive or negative, voiced or written, has an effect. Some effects may be less noticeable than others or harder to correlate, but there's still an effect. (Not just for UCF sports, but in life)

We suck.*

Nice message! UCF hasn't been a losing team for awhile. So, we ain't use to it. Thanks for the message of hope that it can get better! LOL.

is it basketball season yet?

We should always consider the perspective from an outsider. It's a good way to measure the perception of our program. There's only so much black and gold lens shaded opinion you can take before you get caught up in the exaggerations being told.
