I am now convinced that there is no schedule that UCF could have played to satisfy the CFP & SEC Homers. We could've had the exact same schedule as any of the other top 5 teams and it would not have satisfied them.

Any teams we beat go down in the polls, despite if they won all the rest of their games. If you mention that team's strength based on their wins, like Auburn, then it immediately becomes a "transitive property". Well sorry to inform them, but the playoffs are one giant transitive property.

It is all about $$$. In Reality they have about 8 teams they really want and another 10 that are acceptable , and and maybe 10 more that can work in worse case. No others need apply.
