with Coach Dawkins. Why take a stiff from La Tech when you can save the scholarship and bring in a great athlete next year. On the surface, it looks like the Whites are taking care of promises made to the kid when Coach White recruited him to La Tech. I would rather sign a large class next year then to take another kid that has to sit a year. This basketball program just keeps shooting itself in the foot.

I don't mind the idea of getting Dayon Griffin, Louisiana Tech transfer, at all. Why pass up the opportunity to have a proven D1 player join your team who averaged 11 points a game and led his team in 3-pointers this season? Louisiana Tech is better than us at the moment that's for sure. We weren't going anywhere with players like Adonys Henriquez, Matt Williams, and Brendan Boyle let's be honest. We will suffer this year because of lack of depth, but having this many scholarships to use on players in the next class will help tremendously. Trust me, we need a whole new group of players outside of maybe BJ Taylor and Tacko Fall.

I wish we could bring in some 5th year Senior transfers, but there are not a lot of those and competition for them is fierce. One from USC visited UCF recently but he is visiting a couple more schools before deciding.

Most HS seniors have already signed with their college team of choice during the early signing period. So, as much as we need players for this coming season, it is going to be a miracle if we get more than one or two.

Biggest concern with this player from La Tech is that 11 points per games is not a really high average for a guard who has the highest 3 point shooting percentage on his former team. But we have to trust that Dawkins knows what kind of player he needs. And you never know what may have contributed to that average. He may be better than his average suggests.

At this point with the latest departures of our recent UCF Knights! Sorta Alimni whom I will always be grateful to as an ambassor of the school....We should be happy at least that they decided to come here. I'd say that there could be other socio-economic factors which we are not privy to, nor should we be. Pls don't instantly lay it on our brand new coach...a dismisssal of Jones, whom I believe most of us felt had to go, was a wise move by the new AD.

We're pretty much aware as to why it's easy to understand the child-like, rambunctious fans freak-outs over, in the grand scheme of things, meaningless little things. It's simple.

WE WANT TO WIN!........NOW!................INSTANTLY!!!

We as UCF KNIGHT FANS!, yearn for greatness! We wonder why....why if only.....why did Dante hafta fall just a bit short??.........what could have been?

I would say, after dominating Baylor in the Fiesta Bowl, SHOCKING all pundants around the country, producing dominant NFL'ers, hiring a new new exciting coach...that we should learn to relax and be excited about a new era i UCF football.

We're a tiny drop in the collegiate athletic sprectrum, P5 included.

UCF-IS-DOING-GREAT-THINGS-ON-OFF-THE-FIELD!!!!!!

This is going to propel us to our destiny....bowl wins, invitation to a P5 conference, winning a regionals, getting wbb/mbb back i the tourney.

I'm confident we're heading in the right direction.
