With UCF recently landing Clemson/Florida transfer and former five-star running back Demarkcus Bowman, there are currently no plans to sign a running back in the 2023 class. UCF is no longer recruiting Javin Simpkins, who recently listed UCF among his top three.
If some sort of tremendous talent wants to come to UCF (HS or transfer), maybe after the season, I'm sure UCF may feel differently but that's the current plan.
Transfer portal can always change those plans, so knock on wood.
