No details released yet. But according to a Sports Illustrated article Memphis is now going to make Fuente the highest paid non power 5 coach. And this after Houston goes to $3m.

damn. the arms race continues. I think Herman is more likely to stay than Fuente. Fuente's stock could drop after Lynch declares for the Draft

He will still get more from a p5 school. Dude is gone. At least they tried though

Odds are Fuentes and Herman at UH will never get it...as they both will probably be gone.

Memphis made their contract offer to Fuentes over a month ago...and Fuentes still hasn't signed it.

Why?

Because odds are he will be gone...and doesn't want to have to pay a higher buyout fee (a lot higher).

Memphis and Houston have more blue hair boosters (older alumni) with deep pockets...something UCF has to make up for with smaller support from their 120,000 plus "young" alumni that has graduated from UCF over the last decade.

It's an offer, nothing more. Fuente and Herman are gone and those wish bids will disappear for the next guy

Good point as odds are, Memphis and UH will not offer $3 Million per year to their next Head Coaching replacements
