I was born in Florida and grew up in Altamonte Springs . I went to UCF in the 80s and graduated in 92. I have seen UCF grow it's football program from infancy to now and through the years the city of Orlando and it's leadership has been tepid towards our knights. When I read the words from Buddy the Gator Dyer that now UCF is going places and is in the Big XII the city will fly out flag with pride .
Sure, I will take it , but the City of Orlando has had a few decades to be proud to have UCF in its zip code . Tine and again they have paid lip service to UCF and Dyers band wagon proclamation and flag flying is sort of insulting to me as a long time Knight. The city could have and should have been a little more embracing of UCF back in the 80s. Dyer likes us now that we are P5. 😆 Welcome to the wagon Mr. Mayor .
