No one is "pissed off." But yes, many people are "frustrated."
I.e., most Conservatives are not getting upset with the painting or painter ... but the hypocrisy of the Progressives.
E.g., the next time a Progressive points out a 'racist' issue in art, Conservatives have yet another 'round of ammunition' against their arguments.
Which is
why the 'snowflake' argument, while valid with some Conservatives,
is hardly comparable given the US media and Progressives would be all over a white painter doing the reverse. One gets investigated by the DoJ, while the other does not.
But more realistically, let's consider this ...
"Trump has hired a painter, known for painting his murials of white police officers shooting black gang members, where the theme is the police officers are trained shooters (accurate) while black gang members shoot wildly, and injury innocent by-standers."
Now that probably wouldn't be a hate crime, but it would get 100x as many people "pissed off."
Although if the police were painted shooting black people in the back, and the painter advocated such, then yeah, that might be a 'hate crime.' Which is why the 'hypocrisy' argument is valid.
President Obama didn't need to pick this painter ... but he did, and that's why it's a valid complaint.
