Observations at dentist office

While sitting in chair at dentist, I notice a female leaving with four in heels. I can hear through an open door the dentist speaking to this females mother abut braces. Turns out the kid is 12 years old...wearing four inch heels. Am I out of touch with what I imagine 12-year old girls should be wearing on their feet?

I guess its the parent that allows their kids to "dress up". In hindsight, its probably some kid that attends a religious private school and wears a uniform.

Nope. I am use to 48 year old women acting like 12 year olds.
